The GBVCC directors are the official veterinary staff for the Yorktown Grange Fair, Stone Barn Farm Center, Forgotten Felines and Adopt A Dog Rescue.
Dr Immerblum is the deputy team leader for Westchester County Animal Response Team (WESCART) and a member of the American Red Cross Sheltering Animals for Emergency Task Force (SAFE).
WESCART was formed in response to the September11th terrorist attacks. WESCART members work with Westchester Fire Rescue and Westchester County Police to aid in any emergency situations that involves animals.
SAFE was formed to coordinate efforts to shelter people and their pets.
For over fifteen years the Medical & Practice Directors have brought animal safety and pet care classes to young and old alike. Classes and groups of children have enjoyed our hands on educational program with tame healthy animals.
