It works just like Daycare for human babies. Dropping your dog off in the morning on the way to work, and while you slave away, your pampered pooch is pampered indeed! Depending on both your dog's activity level, and the curriculum set out by the Daycare owners, he may enjoy his day by playing with other dogs, playing with people, inside or outside, or he may be the type to while away the hours ensconced on somebody's couch, getting loving attention.

Thousands of pet owners work all day, and this requires leaving your dog home while you work. Often these owners come home to a stressed out dog, and rampant destruction, either of the house, or the yard, and neighbors who complain of barking and howling, due to separation anxiety. One of the top ten reasons given at an animal shelter for owner turn-ins is "he destroys my things when I'm not home". This could be prevented so easily with either crate-training, exhaustive exercise, or daycare.

Every dog will receive a report card after his first stay to let you know how he did here. This will include any behaviors and activities he was engaged in during his stay. Feel free to request a verbal report from me for more specific details at anytime. We fully understand that you want to know what happens when you get in your car and drive away. Always know that you can call as often as you feel you need to in order to feel good about your time away from your companion. This freedom to 'check in' seems to comfort and aid in that feeling of security especially for my first time clients. Please let us know what else I can do to keep you up to date with your dog's changes and needs.

Domestic cats are not typically social by nature so I do not put them together in a playgroup unless you request it and there are others for your kitty to play with. Cats do not receive a ‘report card’ but we will notify you of any changes in activity level, appetite, behavior or anything else we think you should be aware of.

Yes, we do boarding for our clients. We have boarding space for both dogs and cats. We also can board birds and other small animals, but you will be required to bring your own cage and food for your pet. Feel free to bring comforting blankets and toys in their "luggage".

Before you board...

  • Make a reservation well in advance. If you wait too long, the facility may become fully booked.
  • When you bring your dog in for boarding, remember her food, special instructions, and any other permitted items.
  • Do not bring items that you absolutely need to get back, as they could become lost or damaged. Bear in mind that many facilities limit personal items for this reason.
  • Make sure the boarding facility has contact numbers for you on your trip, plus local emergency contacts in case you cannot be reached.
  • Relax! You’ve done your research and your dog is in good hands. Enjoy your vacation
  • Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. Come any time for a tour with one of our doggie day care assistants.

NO animal may be dropped off as a new client. Your pet MUST be seen by our doctors. This is because records must be reviewed regarding your pets health and well being.

What are your kennels like?

Animals are kenneled within the hospitals treatment suites, as well as the grooming and boarding houses. We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Every boarding facility monitor's the daily habits of boarders. We keep a log of appetite, water intake, urination and defecation. Vomiting, diarrhea or other abnormal activity should be noted also. Most boarders will receive a daily “once-over” on  to make sure there have been no changes in their physical condition. Please visit our hospital tour to see more!
